Visiting lectures form a valued part of the college faculty. In addition, all undergraduate and postgraduate programmes are externally moderated. This helps to ensure continuous high quality of teaching standards.

Facilities

We have excellent learning resources comprising: library; laboratories (science, engineering, computing and graphic design); all visual aids such as digital projectors, video recording and editing equipment; photocopying and printing facilities; and finally a vast range of academic and application software including the latest cutting edge graphic design software.

Internet access is available to all students. Refreshments such as tea, coffee, cold drinks and snacks are available on campus. The college also provides an independent student counselling service and advice on career planning and applying for further study.

Academic Awards and Quality Assurance

The College is a traditional establishment of higher education operating within the Provisions of the UK Education Reform Act passed by Her Majesty's Government in 1988.

Diploma in Foundation Studies (Art & Design), Higher National Certificates, Higher National Diplomas, Professional Diplomas, Professional Certificates and Advanced Professional Diploma in Management Studies & Strategic Hospitality Management are awarded by BTEC (Edexcel).

University Foundation Diplomas, Advanced Professional Diplomas, Master Diplomas and Postgraduate Diplomas are awarded by ASET.

Advanced Professional Diplomas, unless otherwise stated, are awarded by ASET.

Professional qualifications are awarded by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) and Chartered Institute of Bankers in Scotland (CIOBS).
